Working Mechanism:

 

The FA800 rebound tonometer uses innovative sensing rebound technology. The magnetized probe generates N/S poles when inserted into the tonometer, creating a transient magnetic field that moves the probe towards the cornea. The probe bounces on the cornea, and the deceleration is converted into ocular pressure readings.

 

Applicability:
