Working Mechanism:

 

The FA800 rebound tonometer uses innovative sensing rebound technology. The magnetized probe generates N/S poles, creating a transient magnetic field that moves the probe towards the cornea. The probe bounces on the cornea, and the deceleration is converted into ocular pressure readings.

 

The rebound tonometer quickly converts pressure into voltage or current signals for rapid measurement data acquisition.
