Working Mechanism:

 

The FA800 rebound tonometer utilizes innovative sensing rebound technology. The magnetized probe generates N/S poles when inserted into the tonometer, causing the probe to move towards the cornea at 0.2m/s. The probe bounces on the cornea, and the deceleration is converted into ocular pressure readings.

 

The rebound tonometer converts pressure into voltage or current signals within 0.1 seconds.

 

Applicability:

 

Used in tonometry tests by ophthalmologists, optometrists, general physicians, and health advisors. Beneficial for patients with dementia, mobility issues, and children with cornea conditions. Handy for glaucoma patients to measure ocular pressure at home.
